WASHINGTON – The Coalition for Military Excellence (CME), a national organization dedicated to advocating for veterans and military excellence in the U.S. armed forces, issued the following statement applauding the recently reported spike in female enlistment across all branches of the U.S. armed forces:
"The Coalition for Military Excellence applauds the surge in female military recruitment as further evidence that America’s armed forces are regaining trust and purpose under renewed leadership. With over 7,200 more women joining the ranks this year compared to the same point last year, this growth is a vote of confidence in the mission-first priorities now guiding our military institutions."
"For years, misguided ideological distractions eroded the military’s appeal to those who value discipline, excellence, and service. These new numbers prove that when leadership prioritizes warfighter readiness over political correctness, Americans — men and women alike — respond with pride and patriotism. These women are enlisting to serve in a military that once again values competence, commitment, and courage."
"Under Secretary Hegseth and President Trump, the Department of Defense has reestablished a clear message: we are warriors first. That message, paired with concrete actions such as troop pay raises and a focus on lethality and mission readiness, is resonating with a new generation of Americans, especially women, who are answering the call to serve."
"CME celebrates this historic uptick as a powerful symbol of national revival. When women choose the military in record numbers, it means they see something worth fighting for again. And when the military attracts those most capable and committed, America is stronger for it,” said Amber Smith, CME Military Advisor.
The Coalition for Military Excellence (CME) is a national organization dedicated to advocating for veterans and military excellence in the U.S. armed forces.
