Military Groups Issue Joint Statement Supporting Big Beautiful Bill

WASHINGTON – The Coalition for Military Excellence (CME), a national organization dedicated to advocating for veterans and military excellence in the U.S. armed forces, and DOD Watch, a group dedicated to calling out radical policies within the Department of Defense, issued the following statement in support of the Big Beautiful Bill:

“We strongly endorse the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ currently before Congress. This critical legislation – notably the defense-related provisions – provides the resources and direction President Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth need to restore strength, focus, and readiness to our nation’s armed forces.

“At a time when our military must be mission-ready and uncompromising in its standards, this bill prioritizes the values of merit, strength, and excellence, exactly what is required to ensure our national security. From robust funding for readiness and modernization to decisive steps in reversing damaging, ideological distractions, the Big Beautiful Bill stands as a bold affirmation of America's military priorities.

“This is the kind of leadership our military needs. President Trump and Secretary Hegseth are delivering on their promise to put America’s warfighters first. We urge Congress to swiftly pass the Big Beautiful Bill and give our armed forces the tools and resources they need to remain the deadliest and most respected fighting force in the world,” said Nicole Kiprilov, spokesperson for DOD Watch, and Harrison Floyd, spokesperson for CME.
